If you are looking to update your equipment there is no better time than now as all players at this month's Blues on the Bay Festival in Warrenpoint can take advantage of a 10% Discount off all merchandise at the StreetMusic store in Newry. The festival runs this year from the 22nd to the 26th of May and Robben Ford, The Yardbirds, Dino Baptiste and The Bluez Catz will all be performing. StreetMusic has recently moved premises to Units 3 and 4, Newry Market, Hill Street Newry and with the increased space available we are able to expand the range of equipment on offer and are in an even better position to display it.

For 30 years Bernie Loughran has graced the local, national and international music scene with his smooth blend of guitar, piano and singing skills.
“I started to play the guitar when I was twelve and music has been my life ever since.”
Having picked his art form he started to play on the local music scene before Europe called.
After a whistle stop tour of Europe, Bernie found himself based in Boston, USA.
“Travelling with a band allows you to explore different musical avenues and experience different attitudes to music.”
While in America, he recorded and played with influential bands such as Tin Machine.
